  • This month (September 2013), legendary photographer Gered Mankowitz releases his book 50 Years Of Rock And Roll Photography, marking - you guessed it - half a century in the rock snapping game. There's an exhibition too, from 14 September until 2 November at Snap Galleries at 12 Piccadilly Arcade, London SW1Y 6NH. Here are some choice photos from a fine career, starting with Jimi Hendrix.
