19 Big Questions We Want Answered In 2014

  • 2014 is upon us and music fans are already beginning to look at the twelve months ahead and ask questions; questions like 'will Daft Punk clamber back into their flashing pyramid and hit the road with their sci-fi sonics? A 'Random Access Memories' tour would be incredible.

  • Are Outkast planning a comeback? Rumours that Big Boi and Andre 3000 will reunite at Coachella festival in April were intensified recently by a photo of the pair apparently hanging out again after a lengthy hiatus. Is a new album in the works? Will they make their way over to the Europe for shows?

  • Will La Roux finally release another album? Not long ago, Elly Jackson seemed to have the world at her feet - a critically acclaimed debut and friends in high places, like Kanye West and Jay-Z (the singer guested on the pair's 'Watch the Throne'). Her second album is now almost five years in the making. Recent shows across the UK performing new material suggest it might finally drop in 2014.

  • Speaking of Jay-Z and Kanye West, could 2014 herald a second 'Watch the Throne' album? The rap titans have talked up the possibility of pairing up again and producer Hudson Mohawke has hinted he's working on material for the project. Following the success of 'Yeezus' and the lukewarm reception Jigga's 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' received, it's Jay that needs the collaboration more. Will it happen?
