June is upon us, so we've picked out the albums we're most looking forward to listening to this month - starting with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs' debut effort 'Trouble', out on June 11. The producer - real-name Orlando Higinbottom - says he wants the LP to avoid "the frequent short-lived trends in dance music."

The Beach Boys - 'That's Why God Made The Radio'. The recently-reunited legends' 29th studio album - and their first to feature all the band's surviving members since 1963 - was produced by Brian Wilson and is out on June 4.

The Hives - 'Lex Hives'. The suave Swedes recently claimed that rock'n'roll is "pretty shit" right now, so we're looking forward to seeing what they come up with on their new album. The LP, released on June 5, is the follow-up to their 2007 effort 'Black And White Hives'.

Maximo Park - 'The National Health'. Frontman Paul Smith has already been hyping up 'The National Health', promising it'll be an antidote to the "bouncy, happy music" elsewhere in the charts. It's out on June 11, but listen to the title track - and find out what NME made of it - by clicking here.

The Smashing Pumpkins - 'Oceania'. The much-anticipated, much-delayed album from Billy Corgan and co will finally be released on June 18. The singer has previously gone on record claiming it's the band's finest effort since 1995's classic 'Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness'.

Dexys - 'One Day I'm Going To Soar'. The Kevin Rowland-fronted band are back - and now renamed as just Dexys - with their first album since 1985's 'Don't Stand Me Down'. 'One Day I'm Going To Soar' is out on June 4.

Hot Chip - 'In Our Heads'. The bods from Hot Chip have described 'In Our Heads' - out on June 11 - as a "love affair with house music", which sounds very promising indeed. The album, which was produced by Mark Ralph, is their first for Domino Records.

Japandroids - 'Celebration Rock'. They may look like a relatively bookish pair, but the Candian duo's latest is as an exhilarating and exhausting blast of rawk as we've heard for some time.
