When the US Air Force used a re-recorded version of The White Stripes' 'Fell In Love With A Girl' in an advert aired during the 2010 Super Bowl, they won the wrath of Jack and Meg, who said they took strong offence to the "implication that we licensed one of our songs to encourage recruitment during a war that we do not support".
