Quite Interesting Fact: in an attempt to top the success of their third album keyboardist Tom Simpson, and drummer Jonny Quinn, took classical piano and drum lessons while making 'Eyes Open'. NME's reviewer wasn't blown away, though. The verdict: "It is quite simply a fine album. But therein lies the problem. It’s. Just. Fine."
