Wildcat! Wildcat! played at the Haus of Hipstamatic in the blazing heat on the Saturday. Their cover of Tears For Fears' Everybody Wants To Rule The World went down a treat and their dreamy stoner pop was just the ticket for an afternoon buzz.

RDGLDGRN were another band with a lot of hype over this year's festival. Perhaps partly because Dave Grohl played drums for their album, recorded in the same room he laid down 'Nevermind' in a couple of decades ago. Nice.

Merchandise were one of the greatest bands NME saw in the week, so much so that we all saw them at least once. They played with a drummer instead of a drum machine which was really a Very Good Thing. Top marks all round.
