Amy Winehouse’s funeral took place today (July 26) at a London synagogue. The small, private event was attended by close friends and family, as loved ones laid the soul singer to rest. A post-mortem took place yesterday – however, no cause of death has been revealed yet. Amongst those in attendance was Winehouse’s ex-boyfriend Tyler James.
Mark Ronson, who co-produced Winehouse’s second and final album ‘Back To Black’ in 2008, was also a close friend to the late singer. Ronson described her as his “musical soulmate” who was like a sister to him. “This is one of the saddest days of my life,” he said of the day she died.
Kelly Osbourne was also close friends with Winehouse. Upon hearing the news of her death, Osbourne wrote on her Twitter: “I can’t even breath right now. I have lost my darling who I loved very much.”
