The Enemy won the Best New Band award at this year's Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony. The Coventry trio picked up their award from The Horrors' Faris Rotter and Kimberly Stewart. The other nominees for this year's Best New Band award included Foals, Joe Lean and the Jing Jang Jong, The Pigeon Detectives and The Wombats.
