Vampire Weekend, LCD Soundsystem and Hercules And Love Affair joined forces to play a DJ set at a prom-themed benefit in New York last night (May 21). The event, entitled ‘The Prom You Were Promised’, took place at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg and will benefit 826NYC, a nonprofit organisation “dedicated to supporting students ages six to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write”.
