  • British Sea Power have plenty of reason to be excited about 2011. "By the time it hits the new year, everyone starts getting depressed again," said Phil Sumner. "With the new album ['Valhalla Dancehall'] coming out 10 days later, it’s a reason to keep cheerful."

  • After spending their last few NYE's curating shows in Brighton, British Sea Power were excited to leave the organising behind and just play. "It’s nice to kind of not have to do the organising this time and we can just turn up and play," Phil Sumner told NME. "We’ll just enjoy the night, and we’ll have a bit of a laugh afterwards."
