A crowd of 400 gathered at the H&M at Buchanan Galleries for the free show
Barât was joined by a backing band including two of his former Dirty Pretty Things bandmates - guitarist Anthony Rossomando and drummer Gary Powell
The group began with a trio of Dirty Pretty Things tracks including 'Bang Bang, You're Dead', 'Wondering' and 'Deadwood'
With the crowd cheering them on from the start, the band responded by throwing H&M caps and sunglasses from the stage
Libertines favourite 'Horrorshow' went down a treat with the crowd
Barât also played 'What Katie Did', 'The Ballad of Grimaldi' and 'France'
The crowd initiated a long chant of "Carl Fucking Barat" to the singer's slight embarrassment
The band concluded with Libs classic 'I Get Along', with members of the audience attempting to crowd surf
Sky Ferreira will play the third NME Showcase brought to you by H&M Love Music in London on June 25
