  • The Libertines have been confirmed as the final headliner for this year's Benicàssim Festival. The Benicàssim appearance will follow the band's reunion show at this year's British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, London, on July 5, which is the group’s first live performance since appearing at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2010.

  • Bombay Bicycle Club have gone absolutely huge in the last few months, racking up a Number One album with the recently-released 'So Long, See You Tomorrow'. Their slot at this year's Reading And Leeds bash, then, promises to be one of their best and biggest yet.

  • The newly-reformed OutKast have added a date at this year's Bestival as part of their 20th anniversary reunion world tour. The hip-hop duo, who released debut LP 'Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik' in 1994, have a number of huge shows lined up all over the globe this summer, although rumours that they're working together on a new album are yet to be confirmed.

  • The biggest Glastonbury headliner to be announced so far? Arcade Fire. They posted a cryptic picture on their Twitter feed to reveal the gig. The band are also headlining Coachella, Lisbon's Rock in Rio and Barcelona's Primavera Sound.

  • Korean artist Choi Go-Eun has confirmed herself for Glastonbury 2014. Speaking about her booking, she said she was invited to perform by line-up coordinator Malcolm Haynes in October. "I was invited to perform there next year and I gladly accepted," she said.

  • T In The Park organisers have announced Arctic Monkeys as its first 2014 bill-topper. The Sheffield band, who headlined Glastonbury 2013, will play the festival which takes place from July 11 to 13 in Balado, Scotland.

  • Massive Attack will headline Sonar 2014 alongside Moderat, Bonobo and Four Tet. The event will run from June 12 to 14 in Barcelona. Sonar have other events around the world, too.
