The Libertines have been confirmed as the final headliner for this year's Benicàssim Festival. The Benicàssim appearance will follow the band's reunion show at this year's British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, London, on July 5, which is the group’s first live performance since appearing at the Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2010.

Jack White is also appearing at Pilton for a fifth time having performed with the White Stripes twice, the Raconteurs and most recently with the Dead Weather in 2010. He’s also due to release his second solo album, Lazaretto, on June 10th and will perform at both the Governors Ball in New York and Bonnaroo before heading over to Somerset.

M.I.A. makes her Glastonbury debut having cancelled her 2007 appearance without explanation. The rapper made her live comeback last year headlining the first night of Bestival. Whether Janelle Monae will be joining her in holographic form is yet to be confirmed. Other acts so far announced include Elbow, Royal Blood and Dolly Parton.

Queens Of The Stone Age and Paramore have been named as co-headliners alongside previously-announced headliners Arctic Monkeys and Blink-182 at this year's Reading & Leeds. Reading & Leeds Festivals organiser Melvin Benn has told NME that they may take it turns to go on last when they play the event.

Korean artist Choi Go-Eun has confirmed herself for Glastonbury 2014. Speaking about her booking, she said she was invited to perform by line-up coordinator Malcolm Haynes in October. "I was invited to perform there next year and I gladly accepted," she said.
