Ida Maria in mid-headbang at her Shockwaves NME Awards Show with Flashguns and Middle Class Rut at Manchester’s Club Academy. This year the shows stretched out even further across the UK and Ireland, taking in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and Belfast.

A fight broke out between one of The Views’s friends and venue staff near their end of the Shockwaves NME Awards show on Tuesday (Feb 10), with the band rushing offstage to see what was going on. Frontman Kyle Falconer returned alone for a solo rendition of Oasis’ ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’.

NME Awards Show: Howling Bells, 09.02.09
