Earlier this year, Williams told NME.com that Reading and Leeds are “like any of the festivals we know in the US – on steroids.”
Fans of all ages stopped by the NME Signing Tent to meet Paramore and get their belongings signed by the band.
The band arrived onstage 10 minutes late, but fans didn’t seem to care, cheering as frontwoman Hayley Williams said: “good evening Leeds, we are Paramore.”
Prior to their performance, Williams told NME.com that her band planned to “get up there and play a rock show and have a good time with our fans and hopefully win over some others in the process.”
Paramore’s Leeds set included songs like ‘Ignorance’, ‘That’s What You Get’, ‘Decode’, ‘Brick By Boring Brick’ and ‘Misery Business’.
Ever wondered what Paramore do right before they arrive on stage? NME got some exclusive video footage of the band walking onto the stage at Leeds.
Hayley Williams was very pleased with her band’s slot at the festival. “It’s such an honour to play between Weezer and Blink-182,” she told the crowd.
