Here's the story of the weekend told by our greatest pictures, starting with Waka Flocka Flame who gave a nod to his Yorkshire surroundings on the freshly created 1Xtra Stage by wearing a Leeds United shirt throughout his brief but wild set.

Swim Deep played a hugely well attended set on the Festival Republic Stage. Performing songs from their debut album 'Where The Heaven Are We', the Birmingham band stuck single 'Honey' early in the set, going on to play 'The Sea' and 'She Changes The Weather' with a cover of Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun' tucked inbetween.

Marr played a host of tracks from recent solo venture 'The Messenger' including 'Generate! Generate!' and 'Sun and Moon' before breaking into Smiths classic 'Bigmouth Strikes Again', inciting a massive crowd singalong. Marr then covered 'I Fought The Law', before ending with a double-whammy of oldies, 'How Soon Is Now' and 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out'.

Yannis admitted that Reading was his favourite festival, saying, "We absolutely adore this festival and that's because of the crowd. This is the best festival in the world." He explained that playing the festival meant a lot to them, as being from Oxford, it was their local festival.
