The Cob Gallery in London is having an exhibition which features Pete Doherty’s artwork and personal belongings. It follows on from their recent blood painting exhibition ‘On Blood: A Portrait Of The Artist’.
This is Pete’s writing desk, featuring a personal message to Pete that is inscribed amongst the other engravings. The desk features secret panels and drawers and is expected to fetch between £6000 and £12000.
Entitled ‘Ladylike’ this is a painting done by Pete of the rest of The Libertines. It includes a contribution from his son and a self portrait by Amy Winehouse in her own blood. It’s expected to sell for between £50,000 and £80,000.
On sale are a selection of Doherty’s journals which contain lyrics, drawings, splatters of his blood and messages from his friends. They are expected to go for between £5000 and £9000.
Created for the ‘On Blood’ exhibition, this collage is described as containing “tongue in cheek memorabilia” of Pete. It’s expected to go for between £4000 and £8000.

‘Untitled 1’ features song lyrics written in blood, on a canvas. It’s expected to go for between £3000 and £5000.
‘Untitled 2’ featuring a detail of a nude in background. Again created for the ‘On Blood’ exhibition. Expected to fetch between £3000 and £7000.
One of the three stage military jackets up for auction. Set to fetch between £2000 and £4000.
Also featured in the exhibition are visual collaborations with Charlotte Gainsbourg and some of his trinkets. A percentage of sales from the exhibition will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
