The Shockwaves NME Awards 2011 took place in London (February 23) - with a thunderous finale courtesy of Foo Fighters, who played their entire new album 'Wasting Light' as well as a few old favourites. Crystal Castles performed hit single 'Baptism' at the ceremony. Unleashing a glitter shower on the pit and the front tables during the song, frontwoman Alice Glass ended the performance by crawling off the stage. The band took home the John Peel Award for Innovation earlier in the evening.
