Joe Strummer’s former manager has told NME that The Clash ‘never reformed because of the Sex Pistols’. She explained that every time Strummer would gather up the group, the Sex Pistols would announce that they too had reformed. Incubus have announced that they are to go on hiatus after summer tour. Lead singer Brandon Boyd told Billboard: “I have been tinkering around, potentially, with a second solo record. That’s probably the most likely scenario. But as far as Incubus right now, we’ll probably take another break.”
Metallica, Blink-182, Paramore to unite for Soundwave Festival 2013. Linkin Park, Garbage and the Offspring are also confirmed for the travelling Australian festival. Also confirmed to include Paramore, A Perfect Circle, Tomahawk, Stone Sour, Kyuss Lives and Anthrax.
