An artwork depicting the penises of the four members of The Beatles has been defaced while on public display at the Museum Of Liverpool, reports Click Liverpool. Titled The Beatles In America, the painting was created by artist Jonathan Gent, who donated it to Liverpool Love, an exhibition of artworks to be auctioned for children's charity Claire House.

John Squire described Jimmy Page as "the world's greatest living guitar player" at the premiere of Led Zeppelin's concert film Celebration Day. The Stone Roses guitarist was at the sold-out screening at Hammersmith Apollo in London to see the movie, which is a film of the band's 2007 reunion performance at the O2 Arena.

Muse kicked off their world tour in Montpellier, France last night revealing their spectacular new live show as well as playing rare songs from their early years. The band, who released new album 'The 2nd Law' earlier this year, performed at the Park & Suites Arena in Montpellier and opened their set with new song 'Unsustainable'.

Liam Gallagher reportedly walked out of George Michael's London gig after just 23 minutes. The Beady Eye frontman accompanied wife Nicole Appleton and friends Tamzin Outhwaite and Kate Thornton to the concert at London's Earls Court Arena, but spent most of his time at the bar with bandmate Andy Bell.

The Rolling Stones have hinted at the possible running order of their London dates in November with a hand-written setlist posted on Twitter. The image, appearing to show a full setlist of Rolling Stones tracks, was posted online shortly before the band announced their two dates at The 02 Arena in November.

The Rolling Stones have announced two London dates for November. The rock legends will play London's O2 Arena on November 25 and 29 to celebrate their 50th anniversary. They will also be playing two nights at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey in the US on December 13 and 15.

The Sydney Morning Herald says that 35-year-old Nicholls has been charged with five offences, including domestic assault, after an altercation at his parent's house in Sydney.
