The Xcerts and LYS played the latest Club NME night in London on Friday (March 23) at Camden’s KOKO venue.
Ahead of the night, support act LYS told NME.com: “This gig is really important for us as a French band. We are looking forward to playing our music to NME fans.”
“We’ve heard great things about Camden and the famous KOKO,” LYS told MME.com. “We love coming to play gigs in London, as it gives us the opportunity to explore the city and to meet new people. London always gives us a warm welcome. This is our third gig here in the last few months, and we hope to be back again soon.”
Aberdeen three-piece The Xcerts served as the headline act, playing their first ever Club NME show.
Ahead of the big night, Xcerts singer/guitarist Murray Macleod told NME.com: “This will be our first time playing Club NME in London and we are very excited. KOKO is a fantastic venue and we are looking forward to showcasing some new material. Hopefully the drunkards will enjoy our noise.”
