Arctic Monkeys debuted a new track at two Scandinavian festivals on June 14 and 16. The band premiered the song 'Mad Sounds', which is likely to appear on their forthcoming new album. Introducing the track, frontman Alex Turner told the audience that they were going to "break things down, just a bit," with a few slow tracks, and joked they should "keep warm by cuddling or something like that".

Kanye West's new album 'Yeezus' leaked online. The rapper's sixth studio album made its way onto numerous torrent sites on June 14. The tracklisting and contributors info was also revealed for the ten track LP, showing that Daft Punk produced the tracks 'On Sight' and 'Black Skinhead' as well as helping out on 'Send It Up'.

Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders has said that the band plan to "have a bit of fun" with their setlist at Glastonbury. This will be the second time that the band have headlined the Pyramid Stage. Helders told BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe: "I'm prepared for what it entails in way, but I think in terms of preparation we can mould a different kind of setlist for it and have a bit more fun with it."

Liam Gallagher has branded Kanye West a "fucking idiot" and made fun of the title of rapper's new album 'Yeezus'. Speaking to GQ, the Beady Eye frontman teased the hip-hop star by discussing the incident in which he attacked a photographer after he banged his head on a street sign. "I couldn't give a fuck what that fucking clowns gets up to" said Gallagher. "Have you seen when he bumped his head?"

The Rolling Stones will play for over two hours during their Glastonbury Festival headline set. The band, who will play Glastonbury for the first time on the Saturday of the festival, will play from 9:30pm to 11:45pm - a total of two hours and 15 minutes. Fellow headliners Arctic Monkeys and Mumford and Sons will both perform for one hour and 30 minutes each on the Friday and Sunday nights.

Kim Kardashian gave birth to her and Kanye West's baby daughter. The reality TV star went into labour on June 15 and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Kanye West was reportedly by his partner's side in the delivery room the whole time, according to TMZ.

A 24-year-old woman died in hospital after falling at The Stone Roses' Glasgow Green gig on June 15. The woman was among 50,000 fans who attended the gig this weekend. She was initially treated on-site before being transferred to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where she died, the BBC reported.

The BBC are set to broadcast an hour of The Rolling Stones' Saturday night headline set at next weekend's Glastonbury Festival. It was previously thought that the festival's official TV media partner would only be showing four songs from the show, but the festival's founder Michael Eavis has now revealed that a full hour of the band's performance will be broadcast.
