Marilyn Manson has threatened to "murder" music journalists who fabricate stories about him. "I can, but do not need to defend myself and the absurd accusations that the average press has clinged onto, he wrote on his Myspace blog, in response to accusations that he is addicted to cocaine.

The free event invites the public to take to the capital's Potter's Fields skate rink while watching bands and DJ's. It will be open to families during the day and over 18s from 6pm (BST). Natalie Imbruglia has announced details of her forthcoming new studio album, which features three co-writes with Coldplay. The album, entitled 'Come To Life', will be released on October 5. It will be preceded by a single, 'Want', on September 28. The single is a Coldplay co-write, as are album tracks 'Lukas' and 'Fun'.

Kaiser Chiefs' frontman Ricky Wilson broke a rib while performing in the US this week (July 28). A statement from the band explained that "Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson fell jumping between the barrier and the stage, breaking a rib in the process whilst the band had been playing".
