Two Door Cinema Club visit the NME office

  • Before heading out on the road to headline the NME Awards Tour, Two Door Cinema Club stopped by the NME office last week to play us a short acoustic set and to answer some questions put to them - by a few lucky fans who got to join us. • Speaking about 'What You Know', frontman Alex Trimble said: "I wanted to kind of sum up our lives at that point, where we were touring all the time. We had just started being a professional band and it kind of encompasses the people you leave behind and also just the total uncertainty of what we were doing."

  • The band also revealed that they'll be working with "big name producer" on their second album. "I can't tell you, it's still under wraps," Trimble told NME. "It's a big name though. He's quite a big producer, but his studio is just next to his house, there's no huge mixing desk, so it's really relaxed and a great place to be."
