Zebedy Rays and Five Working Days played the latest Club NME KOKO in London on Friday (Aug 5). Check out some pictures from the night if you missed out on the fun.
Zebedy Rays were looking forward to playing the NME event, as it’s something they’ve been hoping to take part in for quite some time. “We’re mad excited about playing KOKO because it’s been on our to do list, so now we can tick it off,” the band told NME.COM ahead of the show.
“The venues we’re playing now seem to be getting bigger and better, and the crowds have been going crazy over our live shows,” the band told NME.com. “We’re pretty mental onstage, and we get told we’re the best live band [people have] seen in years.”
“It’s our first NME event – we love the mag and one day we’ll be on that front cover, because we’ve spent the entire year touring up and down the UK and have got the major labels sniffing, wanting to sign us now,” the band told us. “We had one guy from EMI last week that said we’ll be as big as Radiohead. Bring on Club NME. We’re going to tear the roof off!”
Five Working Days also played at the latest Club NME night.
