If you crave a slick and silky soul-induced style of hip-hopR&B, Wyclef is your man. The more underground hip-hop player would put this on the pop pile and deny its existence due to being 5% rap and 95% Bob Marley meets Bobby Womack.
The highlight of the track is the classic '70s stomping funk sample of 'The Payback' by James Brown which never fails to make anything sound half credible, but it's been rinsed to death and should be left to enjoy retirement.
As for Wyclef, he can be known to attack the mic with lyrics, but in this case he's teemed up with soul diva Mary J. Blige and taken the lovesick ballad approach.
