Fun Lovin' Criminals : Korean bodega
...it's a little bit sassy, a little bit street, smokes a few 'blunts' and probably isn't half as groovy, laid-back and nasty as it thinks it is.
"Korean bodeeega", drawls Huey through half-open eyes, "It's mah favourite". Yes, but your favourite what, Huey? Wake up, for Chrissakes, we're trying to speak
to you.
Sad, linguistically challenged limeys that we are, we have no idea what a 'bodega' is (How about a corner shop? - Cosmopolitan Ed), but if it's got anything to do with the FLCs one can only assume that it's a little bit sassy, a little bit street, smokes a few 'blunts' and probably isn't half as groovy, laid-back and nasty as it thinks it is.
Whatever it might be, here's another advert for the supine life of daytime TV, damp carpets and occasional trips to the all-night garage. Bring back national service, that's what I say.
