Jones, Tom & Cardigans : Burning down the house
It's rubbish, obviously, and the whole exercise stinks of elaborate PR schemes and marketing and 'target audiences'
First fruits from the record literally everybody is talking about. Yes, it's the Tom Jones and celebrity friends covers album and here old leather face is, grunting along with Nina Cardigan as the pair attempt to make sense of a Talking Heads tune.
It's rubbish, obviously, and the whole exercise stinks of elaborate PR schemes and marketing and 'target audiences' - hey DJs, check out the Pepe Deluxe and DJ Scissorkicks remixes! You'll never play them! - and is destined to be plugged to death until we all wander, brainwashed, into record stores and buy a copy for no reason other than, well, we've been told to.
Some people are paid to lie. Don't believe them.
