Carson : Vision

Their sleeve is in Braille. Would be good if you could say in turn that the single itself was in sign language, but nothing so quiet or multi-textural is going on here

Carson : Vision

Their sleeve is in Braille. Would be good if you could say in turn that the single itself was in sign language, but nothing so quiet
or
multi-textural is going on here, as the former Jaguar begin rather like a low-rent Dusty Springfield single and then make like My Life Story, only a bit less glitzy. Kind of like Gene's Life Story, if you can imagine that.

Something to do with the concepts of 'faded glamour' and 'London' would appear to be the unspoken agenda of this record, which can only make you think that Carson are either very stupid indeed, or are fortunate enough to live in Bucharest. Lads - London isn't glamorous. It's just where the provincials go when having
long
hair gets them thrown out of the flinty cottages of their birthing.

The same in a real sense is true of the decidedly unepiphanic 'A Vision'. It's better than Hastings. But not by much.
