If Berlin is a city of the mind, Stefan Betke's mix of the sound of its infamous WMF club nights (look, Kit Clayton and Vladislav Delay are here) would show that mind to be falling apart. Diseased, in fact. Necessary or evil? Ah, but what a beautiful sickness. All the joy, good and incipient evil of a WMF night conjoined into a kind of sub-bass nirvana.
