Anderson, Sunshine : Heard It All Before
We're awarding this bittersweet summertime funk <STRONG.Single Of The Week Two status.
It's Sunshine Anderson's curse that her single should be released in what is officially the best week for singles that this reviewer has ever known, because ordinarily this would clinch SOTW easily. The latest in an awesome recent line of young American soul divas, Anderson delivers a boot to an errant lover's arse with sweet panache on a debut that's already ripped through the US charts. It is totally ace. Once, in special circumstances, NME reviewers were permitted a Single Of The Week Two and Three, but the system was abused by lazy writers and binned by pernickety designers. Now though, without drawing attention to it by altering the faultless design of this page, we're awarding this bittersweet summertime funk Single Of The Week Two status. It'll be our little secret, OK?
