Is the world ready for a creepy, lo-fi, breakbeat-fuelled Aphex Twin? Too late, he's here. Mancunian KOW's first ten-inch 'Kentish Town' was a cool sweep of dozy ambience, but this ups the game somewhat. Ol' fashioned acid house, full of squelchy beeps and a bouncing drum machine - it has an eeriness that banishes any notion of smiley faced matey-ness. Older viewers may locate a similar ambience to that pioneered by Renegade Soundwave. I like that shit. Turn it up.
