The rigorous early-'90s indie stylings of this single are not what you'd expect from a woman who spends time in the distinctly '80s-influenced Les Rhythmes Digitales. Still, once you get over the distinctly analogue feeling it's 1992 and you should be having an earnest conversation about PJ Harvey's topless NME cover, the looming atmospherics of 'Light Another' and 'Silent Time' take on a steely emotional glint. Zoot man Stuart 'Jacques' Price co-produces which can only mean the fashion resurgence of the DM cannot be far away...Victoria Segal
