Double 99, UK garage forefathers thanks to their mid-90s bassline bleeder 'RIP Groove', come out of hibernation to team up with - the Sneaker Pimps! Fanfare please! Chris Pimp's "I'm on a seventh high and it makes me blind" refrain won't win any awards for literary merit, but the vocals are suitably moody and catchy for the pleasant proto-house backing. Still, if you compare it to 'RIP Groove' (thoughtfully included here on the flip) then '7th High' just doesn't stand up in the
"Oh My Gosh What The Fuck
Was That?!" tune stakes. Which
is a bit of a shame really.
