A double B-side, if you please, from the Brighton-based, 12-legged ramalama merchants. First, 'Morning Has Broken' delivers rock as she is spoke in Camden - Cramps-style guitars, 'sexy' lyrics ('I wanna spend my life making lurve', they blather) and a bassline heavily evocative of switchblades and black leather (they hope). Then 'Alex' provides, well, more of the same, except that this when the nuclear bomb drops, all that will be left is 'termites and Cher'. Make that termites, ,Cher and the type of music made by The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster. That is, indie.
