Slater, Luke : Nothing At All
...this is a tale of lost love and eventual jubilation, and it should really make you raise your hands in the air...
A bald man with a history of unremittingly hard techno behind him, here we find Luke Slater doing something a bit more overtly geared towards, well, popularity. Reminiscent of nothing quite so much as the works of New York's answer to Fatboy Slim, [a][/a], this is a tale of lost love and eventual jubilation, and it should really make you raise your hands in the air. If you're a fan of Gary Numan, and if your rubber all-in-one permits you that sort of freedom of movement, that is. Still, all very nice indeed, even if the vocals of Ricky Barrow do occasionally sound a bit like that other noted dancefloor groover, Jason Pierce.
