Cinerama : Quick, Before It Melts
If we weren’t all fickle, image-worshipping fly-by-night bastards up here this would be Single Of The Week forever...
More muted orchestral magnificence from Leeds’ Poet Laureate Of The Guilty Fiddle, David Gedge. Today’s sumptuously rendered pop infidelity - possibly the loveliest song anyone’s ever dared to play within earshot of Steve Albini - concerns not evaporating Cornetto but the rather more delicate matter of the wilting erection.
There’s medical procedures for that of course, but ‘Hang On Love, I’ve Lost Me Footpump’ may have dampened the romanticism. If we weren’t all fickle, image-worshipping fly-by-night bastards up here this would be Single Of The Week forever. So if we quietly tell you to go buy it, you can quietly thank us later. Deal?
