Daniel Bedingfield : James Dean (I Wanna Know)
A million bedrooms away from the street-level funk of 'Gotta Get Thru This'...
In which Beddo decides that he wants to be like James Dean, and does so in the style of 'NSync which of course makes perfect sense because if James Dean was alive today he'd be Justin Timberlake. The polish and sophistication of 'James Dean' is a million bedrooms away from the street-level funk of 'Gotta Get Thru This' but the sentiment (nerdy boy in his box room wants to escape) is just as strong, even if it loses some of its innocence because Daniel's not singing like a woman. Also: James Dean had a lovely head of hair, while Daniel 'Daniel Bedingfieeee-uld!' Bedingfield simply has hair on his chin. And in a way, that's a bit like Jesus.
