Polyphonic Spree, Aphex Twin : Carling Weekend Reading Carling Stage/Dance Stage

Polyphonic Spree
While The Strokes headline on the Main Stage, the real surprises are to be found elsewhere - a 25-strong group of robed Texans stealing the hearts of the entire tent with their headswimming take on Grandaddy's sonic squelch. 'Soldier Girl' makes fair claim to being song of the festival.
Aphex Twin
Sometimes hopelessly self-indulgent, tonight Richard D James played 'Windowlicker'. That alone is enough to justify his presence here. 'New York City' what?
