Oxide & Neutrino : Dem Girlz

While the rest of the garage establishment are still knocking out endless Holby Cities in the wake of 2000’s ‘Bound 4 Da Reload’, Neutrino and Oxide flee the building with this multi-textured 80s electro-flavoured banger. As a Cyprus-based retelling of JAY-Z’s ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’ it may lack the lyrical subtlety of Mr Hova ("Don’t know her name, but let’s call her a slapper" is unlikely to trigger the Ivor Novello alert siren) but the tales of cleavage-thrusting gold-diggers shows that Oxide & Neutrino would rather smoke their laurels than rest on them. Sadly, the line "I taught her small axes chop down big trees" dispels one popular myth about Neutrino. Shame.
