Suede : Positivity

Oh my God

Suede : Positivity

Over two years in the works, four producers used, an entire album of sub-standard material binned and a total cost of £122million - it'sSuede! And they're back! Oh my God.

'Positivity' sounds like it could be lifted from 1996's 'Coming Up', though without the [a][/a]
pretensions, the affected social commentary or anything else that ever made Suedeinteresting. And Brett Anderson's lyrical touch has taken a dip. He references 'Dynasty', a show older than most of NME's readers AND writers, and at one point he sings "Your smile is your credit card and your currency is your love". He really does. For the love of God chaps, you still have fans. Go quietly now, and they'll remain true.
