Radio 4 : Dance To the Underground

...simply brilliant...

Radio 4 : Dance To the Underground

No, not John Humphrys’ and Jeremy Paxman’s musical side-project, you fools! With ‘Dance To The Underground’ the other Radio 4 - the cool Gang Of Four-ish ones from New York who wouldn’t be caught dead within a million miles of 'The Archers' - have a hit on their hands.

Already an underground classic in the Big Apple since its release over there last year, 'Dance To The Underground' is simply brilliant. Based on a hypnotic dark-ska riff, it has a chorus so anthemic you’ll be singing it ‘til Christmas. Think classic Clash or Primal Scream at their trashed-out best, or perhaps both of them being mugged by Liars in an alley in Coventry in 1981.
