What's strange is not that you're dancing like a maniac but that you're doing so to the sound of the engine from Frank Black's tourbus suffering a multiple aneurysm. Indeed, Party Of One have taken an extremely overweight slice of bass fuzz and transformed it into the kind of party anthem that Har Mar Superstar would sell his third chin for. Not only is this record utterly brilliant but it's also got it's priorities in the right place. Just check out the line "Put on your white coats put on your white gloves / Fill me up with all kinds of drugs", sung with all the glee of a madman whose just taught Velvet Underground how to throw shapes.
