Even If You Don't(Mushroom)

Like The Wombles, Ween recycle rubbish for their own sick ends.
Fronted by two brothers, Dean and Gene, they finally seem to have
outgrown satirising country music and writing songs about poo, and have moved
onto something vaguely more serious. As the video for this song comes courtesy of
Matt and Trey of South Park fame, such a claim is ultimately
relative, but 'Even If You Don't' is an entertaining mid-'70s FM rock
song. It might be another pastiche (the lyrics claim they're "rooting through the garbage for treasures in the trash
pile"), but at least it's a good one.
