Turning On

Turning On

Not so much a single as an expensive six-minute hint to

Mute that perhaps they shouldn't release everything Richard

Warren gives them. Proving prolificacy doesn't necessarily equal quality, Echoboy's tinny

tune-free Krautrock Moogling

is rapidly becoming as repellent

as the breezy beat-pop he forced out of The Hybirds in his former life. One can only wonder at what point in the recording process it is that Echoboy considers a song to be completed. Halfway through? At the beginning? Really, there's no hurry. It's not a race. Take your time. The world is not exactly starved of Echoboy product.
