Emiliana Torrini : To Be Free

Interesting kind of policy on

the part of One Little Indian

here having signed one Björk, they proceed to sign her again,

but slightly taller and with a different name. ET is Icelandic

and has that slightly annoying

faux naif 'I saw a SPIDER and

it was a very LARGE AND SCARY SPIDER' tenor to her voice that might lead one to

suspect that a background

in amateur theatricals might

be nestling somewhere in her

CV alongside the Gabrielle

support tour. But more interesting in this refreshingly modern

and European project is that it

has been mixed by Tore Johansson

who does The Cardigans, and

in fact, makes it sound like

The Cardigans.

Fantastic. A single European currency. Now a single European Music. What's that in Frank

And Walters?
