Op:l Bastards : Scorpius

If there's anything the world needs more of, it's Finnish techno groups who rock that icy cool, irony-free Scandinavian black metal look...

It took three men with unfortunate skin conditions and outrageous sunglasses to write 'Scorpius', an efficient electro shimmy trapped in the vein of Zombie Nation's irresistible 'Kernkraft 400'. We're glad they did though, because if there's anything the world needs more of, it's Finnish techno groups who rock that icy cool, irony-free Scandinavian black metal look. Op:l Bastards are brilliant, from Helsinki, and were once involved in a group called Larry & The Lefthanded. Met Op:l Bastards' manager in Helsinki last summer. An unforgettable experience, let

me tell you.
