Mouse On Mars : Actionist Response

A defiantly indie record, but one which sounds like it's watched Top Of The Pops...

Meanwhile, Mouse On Mars have done it the other way round, underpinning their spiteful, lo-fi mewlings with unmistakable

two-step drums, even though they sound like they've been filtered through approximately 95 miles of dusty cables leading to two burst speakers. More likely to elicit a 'boo!' than a 'bo!' from the likes of the Dreem Teem, it is nevertheless that rarest of things - a defiantly indie record, but one which sounds like it's watched Top Of The Pops, been on a night out, or at least done something which might make it slightly relevant to the world beyond its bedroom.
