Brave Captain : Better Living Through Reckless Experimentation

Making sense of life, and making some very fine music in the process.

Lovely though they were, Martin Carr's initial releases as Brave Captain were touched by an unshakeable melancholy, the lurking sense of a man bereft of his band. As the title suggests, 'Better Living...' sees Carr recovering his joie de vivre, feeling "like I'm younger though I'm older" and undertaking all kind of irresponsible activities like playing psychedelic Russian Roulette with 'Revolver'. Making sense of life, and making some very fine music in the process.
