Alex Gopher : Party people

Simple but effective, and with another memorably weird video too. C'est magnifique, as we say on Jupiter.

Gopher, was in a teenage band with those sexy

boys

from Air, but left to pursue his glittery house vision. 'Party People' is less inventive than his previous single, the Billie Holiday-sampling 'The Child', but no less likeable. It's essentially a superfly soul man reeling off a list

of

party towns, including Jupiter and Saturn, over a bass-heavy disco bounce.

Simple but effective, and with another memorably weird video too. C'est magnifique, as we say on Jupiter.
