Lightning Seeds : Life's too short

God bless old Ian Broudie. Bullfrog in bifocals. Lord Mediocre. Captain Hatchback. If you were one of those people who watched thinking "well that's not a very good advert for their ABS braking system" at the car advert where the vehicle trundles backwards down a mountain while the edelweiss posse sing 'Marvellous' by The Lightning Seeds - here's something even odder. Broudie goes dance. What's more, Broudie doesn't

just go dance, he gets in a vest,

gets on half an E, and gets on the rostrum down at the Fridge in an Armand Van Helden-style sort

of goes dance. Put your hands in the air, Ian!

It's all quite endearing really. An undoubted musical talent, in the same sort of way Dr Crippen had a body disposal talent, Ian Broudie nonetheless has the ability to be very easily led. Still, if it feels right, Ian baby! Music sounds blander with you!
